Trail des Appalaches
Located in the heart of the majestic Granit region, Parc national Frontenac offers a vast territory of mature forests, sparkling lakes, and preserved natural environments. It is in this authentic setting that the Trail des Appalaches takes place, a unifying and accessible event for everyone. Designed for seasoned runners as well as walkers and families, the Trail offers varied distances from 1 to 60 kilometers, allowing everyone to find a challenge suited to their abilities. The course, with very little elevation, is known for being particularly rolling, offering a pleasant and fluid experience. The trails, carefully maintained, alternate between forests, bogs, shorelines, and clearings, leading to panoramas of rare beauty.
Beyond the sporting challenge, the Trail des Appalaches carries a deep mission: to support the Fonds des Mille-Pattes, a program dedicated to education, safety, and the development of outdoor activities for young people. By participating in the event, runners directly contribute to encouraging the discovery of nature and healthy activities for future generations.
The Trail des Appalaches is also a prime opportunity to showcase the magnificent Granit region, its attractions, its welcoming communities, and its rich natural heritage. An annual gathering where sport, solidarity, and nature become one.
