Tra Ville e Giardini - Varese, June 12, 2026
The Tra Ville e Giardini is an annual running event held in Varese, Italy, celebrating the start of summer with a city-rich atmosphere and sport. For 2026, the event continues its tradition with two courses: a competitive race of approximately 10.5 km for FIDAL and Runcard members, and a non-competitive 8 km course for amateurs. The beautiful villas of Varese will open their gates to welcome a multitude of runners and enthusiasts.
This year's event supports Progetto Rughe, a volunteer association promoting active and successful aging, well-being, and sociality, particularly for those facing fragility. The Società Runner Varese is committed to promoting positive values related to health and social connection, encouraging widespread participation to make a significant contribution.
A food stand managed by the Associazione Dove Due o Tre will be available during the event.
Registration Details
Online registrations open on April 2, 2026, and close on June 10, 2026.
- Competitive Race (approx. 10.5 km):
- Online registration: €15 until May 31, 2026; then €20 until June 10, 2026.
- On-site registration: 20 bibs available for €20 on the evening of the event.
- Maximum 350 participants.
- Non-Competitive Race (approx. 8 km):
- Online registration with chip: €10 until June 10, 2026.
- Online registration without chip: €8 until May 31, 2026; then €10 until June 10, 2026.
- On-site registration: €15 on the evening of the race until 7:45 PM.
- Maximum 400 participants.
- In-person registration at Ottica Giorgi until May 31, 2026, for bib without chip: €8.
- Minigiro (Free registration): On-site registration on the evening of the event.
Logistics and General Information
- Meeting Point: 6:15 PM at Giardini Estensi, Via Luigi Sacco, 5, 21100 Varese. Bib pickup until 7:45 PM.
- Parking: Paid parking available at Autosilo Piazza della Repubblica, Parcheggio del Municipio (via Verdi), Autosilo Sempione (via Marcello Benedetto), and various street parking areas.
- Start Times:
- Minigiro: 7:30 PM
- Competitive Race (approx. 10.5 km): 8:00 PM
- Non-Competitive Race (approx. 8 km): 8:05 PM
- Restrooms: Available within Giardini Estensi.
- Bag Drop: Unsupervised bag and key drop available within Giardini Estensi.
- Refreshments: Water stations along the course for both races and a final refreshment point. Post-race dinner will be available.
