Overview
The Tissington Trail, the site of a former railway line, takes a 13-mile route from Ashbourne to Buxton, in Derbyshire. Surrounded by beautiful countryside the traffic-free trail is ideal for a cracking out and back marathon, going uphill to Parsley Hay for the first half of the trail and slightly downhill on the way back to Ashbourne Leisure Centre... meaning, you've got gravity on your side for the homeward stretch! The race is suitable for both experienced and first-time marathon runners.
Please note: there is a six hour cut off for this event. If it will take you longer please contact [email protected]
