The Tour 2027
The Tour is an iconic four-day festival of running that explores the best areas Tameside, Oldham and Glossop have to offer. Runners will take part in 4 runs on consecutive days, experiencing a brilliant variety of routes and terrain.
XTrail 10k
Date: Thursday 18th June 2026, 7:15 PM
The X-Trail 10K kicks off The Tour, taking in two superb country parks and a variety of running terrain to test all runners. Daisy Nook and Park Bridge Country Parks provide some breath-taking views for an exhilarating run!
Hell on the Fell
Date: Friday 19th June 2026, 7:15 PM
The second event in The Tour promises to be a serious challenge. Hell on the Fell is a hilly 6 mile route starting in Stalybridge and heading up to the Trigg point on Hobson Moor. You will be rewarded with fantastic views and a great atmosphere throughout.
Hero Half Marathon
Date: Saturday 20th June 2026, 10:15 AM
Tackle this fantastic Hero Half Marathon along the Longdendale trail on the edge of the Peak District. This great mixed-terrain course will ensure a challenging but also fun half marathon. This race is perfect for beginners or seasoned half marathoners. Participants are treated to fantastic views and a supportive atmosphere throughout.

The finale of The Tour will be taking place in the historic town of Hyde. Runners from all walks of life will take to the streets in this fun and energetic run. With a kids mile also on offer, the whole family can enjoy this fantastic celebration of running.
