The Proud Run
The Proud Run is part of our 7 Deadly Sins Series of races. For 2027, you have 7 hours to complete your target distance.
You choose your target distance – 5k (2 laps), 10k, Half Marathon, Marathon or Ultra. But your time limit is 7 hours. Suitable for walkers or runners. Tough off-road course.

Event Information
Race start is at 10:00. You have 7 hours to complete your chosen run distance. Each Lap is 2.5k in distance. Suitable for walkers and runners. The course is offroad, all within the grounds of Pengethley Manor, and very tough. There is a bit of a hill, which will be run on each lap, and a series of up and downs through two vineyards.
You chose your distance - each day has the option of a 5k, 10k, Half Marathon, Marathon or Ultra. Race day is Tuesday 12th January. On the day please arrive between 9:00 and 9:30 to register yourself and to collect your race Bib. Race Registration will close at 9:45 and the races will start promptly at 10:00.

How Virtual runs work:
- You can do your run on any day in the month of January.
- Choose the distance yourself, but you must do a minimum of 5k.
- Once you have entered, you will receive a personalised Virtual Bib as a keepsake.
- Entry fees are the same to cover admin of your virtual bib and the additional p&p costs.
