The Peake Run - Our Big Ducking 60th Anniversary Run
Join us for a unique race experience kicking off the Maryland Seafood Festival! Celebrate 60 years of the festival with The Peake Run, featuring the World’s Largest Rubber Duck.
Race Options:
- The Peake 10K: Featured race for 60 years, 6 miles along the Broadneck Peninsula Trail.
- 5K Run: Fast, scenic, and perfect for all levels.
- 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk: Family-friendly and open to all.
- Spectator Ticket and Entry: Allows entry to the festival grounds before 9:30 AM.
The course starts and ends at East Beach, offering views of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. All races conclude before the festival opens, allowing a seamless transition to enjoy seafood, drinks, and live music.

Parking:
Managed by the State of Maryland at Sandy Point State Park. $20 per vehicle (add-on during registration).
Spectators:
Friends and family are welcome to cheer! Spectators must purchase a Maryland Seafood Festival ticket ($5 for race participants, regular entry $15-$20).
Post-Race Activities:
Enjoy the Maryland Seafood Festival featuring local seafood vendors, live music, craft beverages, and waterfront views.
Packet Pick-Up:
Bib, shirt, and race materials will be distributed during the week of the race. Morning packet pickup is not offered. Please arrive early.
Giving Back:
A portion of the proceeds benefits local non-profits dedicated to protecting the Chesapeake Bay.
Swag and Giveaways:
All participants receive a finisher medal and event shirt. Additional giveaways and partner activations to be announced.
What to Bring:
Water, running gear, and anything needed for race day. Arrive ready to run and prepared for waterfront conditions.
