The Northerner Race
The Northerner Race is a Canadian themed obstacle course held annually in Tisdale, Saskatchewan. First run in 2022, the event takes place after the August long weekend and features a course of about 5 km. The route blends traditional obstacle course elements with a number of event-specific Canadian twists.
Participants may walk, jog or sprint the course. Obstacles that cannot be completed require a short set of jumping-jacks before continuing. The event format is presented to allow a wide range of participants to take part without a qualification requirement.
On-site amenities include food and beer gardens. The organiser provides race day information and posts race results, and also offers options for registration, volunteering and sponsorship. The stated mission is to complete the course and take pride in that achievement. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
