The Hustle at Pinehurst
The Hustle at Pinehurst takes place at Pinehurst Lake Conservation Area near Ayr, Ontario. The event revives the historic Run for the Toad course and centers on a 12.5 km loop that circles Pinehurst Lake and passes through forested singletrack and open meadows.

About 70 percent of the course is natural trail, with runnable sections, some short climbs, and an elevation gain of 232 metres per 12.5 km loop. There are three aid stations located at two on-course sites plus one at the start/finish area; supplies include water, Skratch Lemon-Lime, soda, ginger ale, chips, candy and cookies. The event is cup-free; participants receive a collapsible cup at kit pickup.
Timing is provided by disposable electronic chips on bibs; relay teams use a transferable ankle chip. All finishers receive a New Balance finisher backpack and a race medal, and top three finishers in each category receive awards. On-site parking and overnight camping at the conservation area are available. There is no bag check; pets are not allowed on the race course. Headphones are allowed at low volume.
