The Forge Quad-Athlon (Bike, Hike, Run, Kayak)
This unique fitness challenge is back for its second year, offering a complete body and mind test. The event takes place on Saturday, June 27th, 2026, in Old Forge, NY, starting and finishing at the George T. Hiltebrant Center.
The total distance is 26.5 miles, broken down into four disciplines:
- Bike: 13 miles on mtn/gravel on the Tobie Trail.
- Hike: Approximately 4.5 miles through the trails on Vista Mountain.
- Run: 2.6 miles on the Tobie Trail leading to Rondaxe Road.
- Kayak: 5.4 miles down the Moose River, exiting onto North Street.
- Final Run: 1 mile back to the Rec Center.
A BBQ meal at Mountainside Smokehouse & Grill is included for all registered single entries. Kayak rentals are available for $20 through the Town of Webb High School Sports Booster Club for 2026.
Timeline:
- Friday, June 27th: Packet pick-up (6pm-7pm, location TBD).
- Saturday, June 28th: Race day packet pick-up (6:45am-7:45am) at George T. Hiltebrant Recreation Center.
- Saturday, June 28th: Kayak drop-off (7:00am-8:15am) on Rondaxe Rd.
- Saturday, June 28th: Bag drop-off and check-in (8:15am-8:30am) at the bike start.
- Saturday, June 28th: Race starts at 8:30am.
Helmets are required for the bike leg, and life jackets for the kayak leg.
