Kick off your Independence Day with the Fleet Feet Battle for Independence Road Race! Hosted on July 4, 2025, this event features a 5K and a 1 Mile - Not Timed, making it perfect for family members of all ages to enjoy.

Course Details
The scenic route runs along Independence Blvd. through Wilmington’s Cross City Trail, ensuring a fast and flat course that’s also stroller and wheelchair friendly!
Registration Fees
- 5K: $30.00 - $40.00 (prices increase closer to the event)
- 1 Mile - Not Timed: $25.00 - $30.00
Awards and Swag
Participants will receive a race shirt if registered by June 3, 2025, and medals will be awarded to finishers of both the 5K and 1 Mile events.
