The Fairfield Police Sunset 5K - Presented by Moneco Advisors
Join us for the 2nd Annual Fairfield Police Sunset 5K, a fundraising event supporting local charities. You can choose to run or walk the 3.1-mile course, or participate in the 0.8-mile walk. All proceeds will be donated to the Fairfield Police Union Scholarship Fund and The Fairfield Police Foundation.

Event Details:
- Race Day: July 15, 2026
- Start Time: 6:30 PM for both the 5K and 0.8-mile walk.
- Location: Jennings Beach, Fairfield, CT. Parking at Jennings Beach will not require a beach sticker for non-residents.
- Weather Policy: The event will proceed rain or shine, unless there is lightning. No refunds or postponements.
Courses & Pricing:
- Fairfield Police Sunset 5K Run: Computer chip timed, 3.1 miles. Awards for top finishers and age groups.
- Fairfield Police Sunset 0.8 Mile Untimed Walk: Non-competitive walk.
Pricing for 5K Run:
- First 200 registered: $35
- Registrants 201-600: $40
- Registrants 601-1000 and race day (if not sold out): $45
Pricing for 0.8 Mile Untimed Walk: $35 flat fee for all ages.
Food Truck Ticket (for non-registered attendees): $20.00. Included for pre-registered 5K and walk participants.
Important Information:
- Shirt size guarantee ends June 12th.
- Early bib/shirt pickup available on July 13th & 14th at Marathon Sports in Fairfield.
- Race day bib/shirt pickup available from 4:45 PM - 6:15 PM at Jennings Beach.
- There will be NO race day registrations if the event sells out.
- No refunds will be issued.
About the Charities:
- Fairfield Police Union Scholarship Fund: Awards scholarships to children of Fairfield Officers and local high school students.
- Fairfield Police Foundation CT: Supports the Fairfield Police Department with equipment, wellness, and training, and the K-9 Unit.
