11th Annual Gobble Wobble 5K & Fun Run
Join us on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26, 2026, for our 11th Annual Gobble Wobble event! This race supports Meals by Grace (www.mealsbygrace.org).
Event Details
- 5K Participants: Receive a lightweight hoodie and custom finisher medal.
- Kids Fun Run Participants: Receive a lightweight hoodie and a fun run medal (guaranteed if registered by November 20, 2026).
- Virtual 5K: Participate from anywhere!
Race Information
5K Walk/Run Start Time: 8:00 AM
Kids Fun Run Start Time: 9:15 AM
Corrals and Timing
5K runners will be assigned to a Corral based on their estimated finish time. Chipped timing bibs will be used, and your official race time starts when you cross the starting line.
Registration Deadlines
To guarantee a finisher medal and race shirt, register by November 20, 2026, at 11:59 PM. Please select your shirt size carefully during registration, as exchanges may not be possible.
Location and Parking
Race Location: Halcyon, 6365 Halcyon Way, Alpharetta, GA 30005. The start line is in the parking lot behind Cherry Street Brewpub.
Parking: Free parking is available in multiple locations, including the Halcyon parking garage, Big Creek Greenway Halcyon Trailhead, and lots along Ronald Reagan Blvd and McFarland Parkway. Carpooling is advised. Avoid parking at businesses open on Thanksgiving Day or in residential areas.
Packet Pickup
Locations:
- Big Peach Running Co. - Cumming (5485 Bethelview Road, Suite 430, Cumming, GA 30040)
- Big Peach Walk, Run, Hike - Dawsonville (145 Forest Blvd #210, Dawsonville, GA 30534)
Dates & Times: Friday, November 20th through Wednesday, November 25th, 12 PM - 5 PM daily. No race day packet pickup.
Packets for virtual participants not picked up will be mailed after November 30th. Unclaimed packets for in-person participants will be donated.
Restrooms
Full-service restrooms are available inside The Market Hall. Portable toilets are located near the Big Creek Greenway Halcyon Trailhead facility.
Awards
Awards will be given to Overall Male/Female, Overall Masters Male/Female, and top 3 age group finishers (5-year increments) for the 5K. There will be no award ceremony on race day. Awards can be picked up at Big Peach Running Co. - Cumming starting November 27th.
Weather Policy
Events will be held rain or shine. Race officials reserve the right to cancel, delay, or change the event if it is deemed unsafe.
