Tara Kinder Memorial 10K at Elvaston Castle
The Tara Kinder Memorial is a non-profit road race held at Elvaston Castle main car park (B5010 DE72 3EN) on 10 July 2026. The event uses chip timing and is described as a flat 10 km course on road and pavement. Parking is available in the castle main car park and parking charges apply.
All proceeds from the event go to local charities. Entrant numbers are limited to a maximum of 600 and the minimum age for entry is 15 years. Entries close on 8 July 2026. The organiser’s terms state there are no refunds or deferrals.
Facilities at the venue include public toilets in the main car park and a mobile stall selling hot and cold drinks and food. There are no showers or changing rooms. Race photographs will be taken and made available free of charge after the event. Race numbers and timing chips are issued at Race HQ on the day and the chip must be worn to appear in the results.
All finishers receive a memento. Prizes are awarded to the first three men and women overall and to winners in the listed age groups: Under 20; MV40, MV50, MV60, MV70; FV40, FV50, FV60, FV70. The awards presentation takes place after the first finishers have completed the race. Headphones, dogs, and buggies or pushchairs are not permitted.
