Tangerhütter Stadtpark-Cross
The Parklauf Tangerhütte is a running event that takes place in Tangerhütte. The event was initiated in 2010 by local athletes to continue the running tradition established in the DDR era with the summer Tangerlauf. The races are held in the beautiful Stadtpark in autumn. The park's various paths are ideal for a circuit course. The organizers of SV Germania Tangerhütte have set up 4 routes:
- For young participants: 1.1 km around the Spiegelsee.
- For youth: a large circuit of 2.9 km, passing by the New Castle and the Mausoleum, returning to the start.
- For adults: routes of 5.4 km (2 laps) and 10.3 km (4 laps) as part of the EOC (Elbe-Ohre-Cup) series.
Starting times and distances:
- 09:45 Uhr: 0.3 km (Children up to 7 years) - no ranking
- 10:00 Uhr: 1.1 km - female and male age groups U12 and younger
- 10:20 Uhr: 2.9 km - female and male youth U14 and U16
- 10:45 Uhr: 5.4 km - all eligible female and male age groups
- 11:15 Uhr: 10.3 km - all eligible female and male age groups
The finish area will provide grilled food, refreshing drinks, fruit, coffee, and cake.
