Summerfest 5k & 1 Mile
West Shore Rotary Club 5K Run & Summerfest is here! Saturday, July 25 • Bohlken Park • Fairview Park, Ohio
Join us for a fun-filled morning of fitness, family, and community at the West Shore Rotary Club 5K Run & Summerfest! Whether you're chasing a personal best, enjoying a family walk, or cheering on your little superhero, there's something for everyone. The event kicks off and finishes at beautiful Bohlken Park, with participants enjoying a fast, scenic course through Fairview Park before returning to the heart of Summerfest festivities.
Event Schedule:
- 7:00 AM - Packet Pick-up
- 8:30 AM – Fairview Rotary 5K Run Chip-timed 5K race Awards for top overall and age group finishers Starts and finishes at Bohlken Park
- 8:35 AM - Summerfest Fun Run/Walk Approximately 0.7-mile family-friendly course Perfect for walkers, families, and younger participants Untimed and open to all ages
- 9:30 AM - Kids "Super" Sprint Short dash for children Dress as your favorite superhero! (Capes, masks, and creative costumes encouraged)
- 9:40 AM - Awards: Top 3 Male and Female overall Top 3 Male and Female in the following age groups: 0-10, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & Over
Registration Includes:
- Race shirt (while supplies last)
- Finisher medal for 5K participants
- Post-race refreshments
- Support of West Shore Rotary Club community projects

Proceeds from the event benefit local Rotary initiatives that support youth programs, community improvements, scholarships, and service projects throughout Fairview Park.
Dogs are allowed but we ask that you line up in the back and have a short leash.
