Summer Solstice Challenge
Circuit Running Events Limited presents the Summer Solstice Challenge, a 6-hour timed event in Hull where participants can run distances from 5K up to an ultra marathon within the time limit. The event is licensed by the TRA and run under UKA Athletics rules.
The course is predominantly a tarmac path along an old railway line with a small section of trail, featuring an out and back route with no navigation required. One lap is 4.37 miles, with a 5K turn point. A 10K is two laps of the 5K section, a half marathon is three laps of the 4.37-mile course, six laps for a marathon, and seven or more laps count as an ultra marathon.
An aid table is available at the end of each lap, offering water, squash, fizzy drinks, and a variety of foods such as sweets, biscuits, and grapes. Toilets are provided at a local leisure facility.
Parking is available on Preston Road in the parking bays near Poorhouse Lane. Please park responsibly and be aware of parking restrictions.
Upon finishing, participants receive a bespoke medal and a five-piece goody bag.
