Sufferfest on Section 4
Register for this challenging endurance event on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 7:00 AM. Traverse Section 4 of the Pioneer Trail as many times as you can within 5 hours. The course is approximately 2.5 miles one way. Expect a technical, hilly trail with switchbacks and scenic overlooks. This event is limited to 30 participants due to parking limitations. While the event is free, donations are encouraged to support the Friends of Florida State Forest. Bring your own hydration and fueling; water and electrolytes will be provided at the halfway point. Prizes will be awarded for the most completed loops.
