Suderburger Abendlauf
The Suderburger Abendlauf is a running event taking place on Saturday, June 20, 2026, in Suderburg, Germany. The start and finish are at the Sportplatz Suderburg am Tannrähm.
Races:
A total of 7 races are offered, ranging from 500m to 20km, catering to various age groups. The first start is at 5:00 PM.
- 500 m Schnupperlauf: For girls and boys born 2019 and younger. Includes entry list and timing. Start: 5:00 PM.
- 1.900 m Kinderlauf: For girls and boys in U8 - U14 categories (born 2013-2020). Start: 5:10 PM.
- 20 km: For male and female youth U20, adults, and seniors. Target time: 2 hours 30 minutes. Start: 5:30 PM.
- 10 km: For male and female youth U18, U20, adults, and seniors. Target time: 1 hour 30 minutes. Start: 5:30 PM.
- 5,7 km Laufen: For male and female youth from U12, adults, and seniors. Start: 6:10 PM.
- 5,7 km Nordic Walking/Walking: Includes entry list and timing. Start: 6:10 PM.
- 3 x 1900m Staffellauf: For all participants from U8 (born 2020). No age or gender classification. Includes entry list and timing. Start: 6:10 PM.
Course Profile:
The routes wind through varied, wooded, and hilly landscapes in the heart of the Lüneburger Heide. The paths are mostly sandy and generally weather-resistant, with short road sections. Routes are marked and secured, but participants are responsible for following the course.
Registration and Fees:
- Registration Deadline: June 13, 2026. Late registrations on race day incur an additional fee of €4.00 and must be paid in cash.

- Children and Youth: €5
- Adults: €11
- Relay (per starter €5): €15
Event Information:
- The event takes place regardless of weather. Changes to the schedule or course due to weather or other circumstances are reserved. Refunds are not possible, even if the event is canceled by the organizer.
- Changing rooms and showers are available at the start and finish. Refreshments are provided at the finish; food and additional drinks are available for purchase. The 10 km and 20 km races have aid stations approximately every 5 km.
- Awards: Top 3 overall (male and female) for 5.7 km (run+walking), 10 km, and 20 km races. Top 3 age group winners for the 1900m children's race. All participants in the 500m Schnupperlauf receive awards.
