Star Wars 50th Anniversary Running Events
Join the Star Wars 50th Anniversary celebration with marathon and half marathon races around Caldecotte Lake in Milton Keynes. The event takes place on June 5th and 6th, 2027.
Venue Details
The event is held at Premier Inn, Lakeside Grove, Bletcham Way, Caldecotte, Milton Keynes MK7 8HP. It is conveniently located approximately 150 yards off the A5 and about 3 miles from the M1 motorway. A nearby windmill serves as a local landmark.
Race Information
- Marathon: 7.5 scenic laps of Caldecotte Lake, clockwise. A 50k option is also available.
- Half Marathon: 3.5 scenic laps of Caldecotte Lake, clockwise.
Mandatory race briefings will be held shortly before each race. Route descriptions will be provided at the event location.
Time Limits
- Marathon: Hard time limit of 7:00 hours. Finishers after this time will be recorded as DNF (Did Not Finish).
- Half Marathon: Time limit of 4:00 hours.
Awards and Support
All finishers will receive a unique bespoke medal. Race support includes a starter, timekeeper, race referee, a large pub car park, and water and toilets available on every lap of the lake course. The event is conducted in accordance with 100 Marathon Club rules.
