Staffetta dei Castellieri 2026 - 1° Memorial Stefano Marangone
Organized by Asd Niù Team with the patronage of the Municipality of Pozzuolo del Friuli and under the aegis of AICS, in collaboration with ASLA Association.
Race Details
When: Friday, June 19, 2026
Type of course: 3.100 mt loop course, starting and ending at the civic library of Pozzuolo del Friuli. The route winds through the castellieri and along the Cormor stream, with ascents and descents. The course will be illuminated by windproof torches in open areas and by spotlights in the wooded sections, set up by the Civil Protection.
Start and Finish: 7:00 PM at the civic library of Pozzuolo del Friuli, via del Mercato 1.
Bib pickup: At the area of via del Mercato in Pozzuolo del Friuli from 5:00 PM.
Maximum time: 3 hours and 15 minutes.
Registration
Registration is available ONLINE via the "Iscrizioni" tab or in the EVENTS section of niuteam.it. To complete registration, fill out the form and send it via email to [email protected] with proof of bank transfer. Alternatively, you can submit the completed and signed registration form and pay the fee on the day of the event.
Registration Fees
- € 30.00 per registered team.
- € 15.00 per single participant for one or more legs.
- Free offer for teams composed of children under 10 years old. Payment upon bib pickup, with a signed liability waiver.
Number limit: 130 relay teams.
Proceeds from registrations will be donated to research and assistance for SLA patients.

By 8:00 PM on Thursday, June 18, 2026.
What's Included
Ambulance service, AICS insurance, refreshments, showers, gadget, and pasta for all participants.
Luggage Deposit Service
Currently, there is no luggage deposit service. Participants must secure their personal belongings independently. The organization is not responsible for theft, loss, or damage.
Obligations
Participants are advised to wear appropriate shoes for the wooded trails along the Cormor stream and to use a headlamp. Participants exceeding the time limit on slower sections of the course must observe traffic rules.
Refreshments
Available at the start/finish area.
Medical Service
An ambulance with specialized first aid personnel will be present near the start.

The event is non-competitive.
