St. Albert Triathlon - August 9, 2026
The event takes place in St. Albert, Alberta, known as The Botanical Arts City of Alberta. The race features a 25 metre outdoor pool swim followed by a bike and run on rolling, low traffic roadways.
Four race options are offered:
- Sprint Triathlon: 750 m swim; 20 km bike (4 loops); 5 km run
- Try-a-Tri: 250 m swim; 10 km bike; 2.5 km run
- Team Relay: sprint distance for relay teams (750m swim; 20 km bike (4 loops); 5 km run)
- Aqua-Bike: sprint distance swim and bike (750m swim, 20km bike (4 loops)). Finishers can optionally run up to the field and through the finish line.
The organizer is providing its own race insurance for 2026 and is subsidizing part of the cost.

Early Bird Pricing (Sprint/Aqua-Bike):
January 1 - March 31: $110 CAD, plus $5 insurance
April 1 - May 30: $130 CAD, plus $5 insurance
June 1 - August 4: $150 CAD, plus $5 insurance
Try-a-Tri Pricing:
January 1 - August 4: $99 CAD, plus $5 insurance
Team Relay Pricing:
January 1 - August 4: $220 CAD (includes insurance for all team participants)
Aqua-Bike Pricing:
January 1 - March 31: $110 CAD, plus $5 insurance
April 1 - August 4: $130 CAD, plus $5 insurance
