Spring - Clock Change Challenge
The Clock Change Challenge takes place on Sunday 28 March 2027 at Calne Community Campus, White Horse Way, Calne, Wiltshire SN11 0SP. The event is in its 17th year and features accurately measured road race distances and a junior fun run.
Available distances:
- 10 km road race, accurately measured; entrants must be 15 years or over.
- 5 km road race, accurately measured; entrants must be 11 years or over.
- 1.5 km supporting fun run for juniors under 16.
The 5 km and 10 km routes use out-and-back sections on quiet country lanes. The 1.5 km fun run loops around traffic-free sports fields. The course is described as fast and flat. Electronic chip timing is used for all runners and results are recorded by LPS Events.
Prizes and awards include bespoke event medals for 5 km and 10 km finishers and finisher medals for the 1.5 km fun run. Category prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in the 5 km and 1.5 km. The 10 km has overall top three male and female prizes plus awards in multiple age categories and first male and female team prizes based on top three accumulated positions from the same club.
Practical information: free parking, changing and shower facilities, toilets and lockers are available. Hot food and drinks are provided. The course is unsuitable for wheelchairs, prams, pushchairs and dogs. Portable music players are not permitted and may lead to disqualification. Race Start Times:
- 5km road race starts at 10:00am
- 1.5km fun run starts at 10:30am
- 10km road race starts at 11:00am
Important Notes:
- 10km road race entrants must be 15 years or over. 5km road race entrants must be 11 years of age or over.
- Fun run entrants under the age of 17.
- Course is unsuitable for wheelchairs, prams, pushchairs, and dogs.
- Portable music players are not permitted and may lead to disqualification.

- Hot food and drinks available.
- Bespoke medal for the 5km and 10km event. 1.5km runners will receive a finisher medal.

- Presentations scheduled for 11:15am for 5km and 1.5km races and 12:15 for the 10km race.
