Sonthofer Citylauf 2026
The 22nd Sonthofer AKW Citylauf will take place on Friday, July 10, 2026, in Sonthofen. This event features relay races for teams.
Event Details:
- Date: Friday, July 10, 2026

Competitions:
- a) Hauptlauf (Main Race): 3x 4.8km relay for adults (born 2008 or earlier) and youth (born 2009-2016). Available in Men's, Women's, and Mixed (min. 1 female) categories.
- b) Kinderlauf (Children's Race): New 2x relay format.
- 2x 525m (born 2019-2021) in categories: Boys, Girls, Mixed.
- 2x 1050m (born 2015-2018) in categories: Boys, Girls, Mixed.
Schedule:
- 17:00 - Children's Race (2x 525m)
- 17:15 - Children's Race (2x 1050m)
- 17:45 - Award Ceremony for Children's Races
- 18:30 - Main Race
- 20:30 - Award Ceremony for Main Race
Entry Fees (per team):
- Main Race (3-person team): €50,- for the first 30 teams, €60,- thereafter.
- Main Race Youth (3-person team): €40,- for the first 15 teams, €45,- thereafter.
- Children's Races (2-person team): €20,- for all teams.
Registration:
Online registration available until Wednesday, July 08, 2026, 23:59. Late entries on-site incur an additional fee (€10,- per team for main race, €5,- for children's race). Registration desk open for children's race from 16:00-16:30 and for main race from 16:45-18:00.
Awards:
Every participant receives a medal. Certificates can be downloaded online. Top 3 teams in each category will be honored during the award ceremonies.
Refreshments:
Free water and ISO drinks at the finish line. Food and drinks will be available for purchase on-site.
Additional Information:
No shower facilities available. Participants must be adequately trained and physically healthy. Traffic regulations must be observed as the course is not fully closed to public traffic.
