Sommernachtslauf Limburg Postponed to June 12, 2027
The Sommernachtslauf Limburg, originally planned for June 13th, has been postponed to June 12, 2027. This decision was made due to extensive construction work in the city center of Limburg, which affects key areas like the Pusteblume and Europaplatz, as well as a large construction site on Diezer Straße/Plötze, among other restrictions.
The organizers emphasized that moving the race outside the city center is not an option, as the unique character and ambiance of the run are intrinsically linked to its course through the picturesque streets and alleys of Limburg's old town.
The event is described as a charming evening gathering with a beautiful route. The motto "Small but nice" reflects the intention to maintain the Sommernachtslauf Limburg as an atmospheric event, captivating both participants and spectators, rather than pursuing ever-increasing participant numbers like other city runs.
Available Races:
- Half Marathon (Halbmarathon)
