Solihull Half Marathon, 5k & Kids Race 2026
Come and join us for the Solihull Half Marathon and 5k on Sunday 9th August 2026 in support of Acorns Children Hospice and join thousands of your fellow runners in chasing down a personal best along closed roads.
This year we’ve introduced a kids race, making this a fun day out for the entire family!

The Venue
Starting and finishing in Solihull town centre, take the unique opportunity to run a half marathon or 5k around the closed roads of Solihull. The event village and start line will be easily accessible for all by public transport.

The half marathon route is an undulating course on closed roads and tarmac paths. It starts and finishes in Solihull town centre and initially follows New Road into Malvern Park. Runners leave the park via Widney Manor Road to reach Knowle town centre, then pass through countryside around Barston and Eastcote where steeper inclines and declines occur. The route returns to Knowle before following Widney Manor Road and Malvern Park back to the town centre. The 5k uses the same start and finish areas, follows the early section through Malvern Park and along Widney Manor Road, and has an earlier turnaround point.
