About the race
The Sokolský běh republiky – Telč will take place in Telč on Wednesday 28 October 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
Race Details
The event will be held in a RACE format, meaning timing might not be electronic, but results and winner announcements will still occur. Each participant will receive a start package with a bib number and gifts from organizers and partners. A unique medal shaped like the Czech Republic awaits finishers.
Main Course
- Adults: 3.3 km - A relatively easy city circuit through the center of Telč, passing Štěpnický rybník, the castle park, and Belpská lávka to the town square, returning to the Sokolovna.
Children's Courses
- 700 m (born 2012-2015) - Older children will run two laps on the tartan track at the football stadium.
- 350 m (born 2016-2020) - Younger children will run one lap on the tartan track at the football stadium.
- 200 m (born 2021 and younger) - The youngest children will run a portion of the tartan track at the football stadium.
Support Program
There will be a supporting program for children on-site, open to all, regardless of participation in the race. Activities include various sports competitions and a bouncy castle.
Facilities for Runners
Refreshments, changing rooms, and toilets are available at the sports field complex. Showers are located next door in the sports hall.
Parking
Parking is available on Tyršova street, next to the stadium.

- 11:30 - 12:30: Bib pickup for children's races
- 12:00 - 13:30: Bib pickup for the main race
- 12:50: Start of children's race (born 2021 and younger)
- 13:10: Start of children's race (born 2016-2020)
- 13:30: Start of children's race (born 2012-2015)
- 14:00: Start of the main race
- 15:00: Award ceremony for all races
