Sokolský běh republiky – Otradovice
The Sokolský běh republiky in Otradovice will take place in a race format. While the time may not be measured with a timing chip, participants will still receive their results and be eligible for awards. Each participant will receive a starting package with a bib number and gifts from organizers and partners. A medal in the shape of the republic awaits everyone at the finish line.
In the start area, you can visit the Cimrmanův trafovýčep.
Main Race
➤ Adults 5.3 km
The start and finish are at the playground in Otradovice. After a short uphill, you will head onto a forest path around a feeding station. You will reach an asphalt road, run 70m, and then continue on pleasant, soft forest paths. Along the way, you will encounter feeding stations, dense forest patches, and occasional clearings. The route has minimal elevation gain. Finally, you will descend a short hill and sprint to the finish.
Children's Race
➤ 1.5 km - born 2012 - 2015
The start and finish are at the playground in Otradovice. After a short uphill, you will head onto a forest path around a feeding station. You will reach an asphalt road, run 300m, and then turn left onto a forest path, run past a seating area, and reach a forest road. Turn left and run back to the playground. Finally, descend a short hill and sprint to the finish.
➤ 350 m - born 2016 - 2020
After the start, you will run up a short hill, turn onto a forest road, and take a sharp turn back down the hill to the grassy playground. You will run around the entire playground and head to the finish.
➤ 100 m - born 2020 - 2026
The route is around the perimeter of the grassy playground.
Accompanying Program
For all the youngest children, there is a sandbox and swings. For older children, there is a ping pong table and a slackline.
Facilities for Runners
Changing rooms, showers, and toilets are available on site. Refreshments are provided (hot soup, beer, soft drinks, fruit, homemade cakes, gluten-free bread). Valuables can be stored in the clubroom. The heated clubroom is available to everyone.
Parking
Free parking is available next to the playground or in the parking lot 300m from the playground.
