About the race
The Sokolský běh republiky – Hřivice will take place in Brodec on Wednesday 28 October 2026. This is a fun run event, meaning that the finish time is not measured and there is no results list with runner rankings. It is truly a run for joy without competition.
Each participant will receive a starting package with a start number and gifts from organizers and partners. In the finish, a medal in the shape of the republic awaits everyone.
The race routes lead through beautiful terrain, offering natural scenery and a sporting challenge. Shorter routes are prepared for children, adapted to their age and abilities.
At the end of the race, a well-deserved reward in the form of soup and drinks will be available at the Myslivna inn in Opočno.
Main route

The entire race route runs along the Hasina stream. The first 300 m of the route are on asphalt. At the end of the village of Hřivice, the asphalt surface ends and changes to a grassy field path that continues to the finish line. The route profile is flat.
Children's route

Accompanying program
Before the race starts, we will tune in together and warm up with exercises to music. In the finish, soup and sitting by the fire will be prepared for the participants.
Facilities for runners
At the start of the race in the Sokolovna in Hřivice, there will be a WC and changing room available. There will also be an organizers' car to transport backpacks or other personal items of participants to the finish line. For the return to the start of the race at the Sokolovna in Hřivice, you can use the train connection Opočno - Hřivice.
