Sokolský běh republiky – Horoměřice
The Sokolský běh republiky in Horoměřice will take place on Wednesday, October 28, 2026. This running event is designed for all age categories and offers a variety of distances to suit everyone.
Race Information
The main race is 4.9 km and starts in Horoměřice on the meadow below Severní street. The route winds through Statenice and along forest paths with beautiful views. For children, there are several distances:
- 1.1 km for ages 2012-2015 (3 laps of a 380m circuit)
- 380 m for ages 2016-2020 (1 lap of a 380m circuit)
- 100 m for ages 2021 and younger
Participant Information
Each participant will receive a start package including a start number and gifts from organizers and partners. A medal shaped like the Czech Republic awaits finishers. The event also includes a supporting program for children and a moderator.
Facilities and Logistics
There will be a tent for personal belongings, refreshments, and portable toilets at the start/finish area. Parking is available on Severní and K Chotolu streets. Public transport is accessible via bus lines 316, 360, 365 to the V Lipkách stop.

- 10:00 - 11:30: Collection of children's start numbers
- 11:00: Start of children's race (2021 and younger)
- 11:30: Start of children's race (2016 - 2020)
- 12:00: Start of children's race (2012 - 2015)
- 12:00 - 13:00: Collection of main race start numbers
- 12:15: Award ceremony for children's races
- 13:50: Joint warm-up before the main race
- 14:00: Start of the main race
- 14:45: Award ceremony for the main race
