Breathe in the crisp winter air as you embark on a nighttime adventure like no other. The Snow Moon Stampede offers two main events:
Snow Moon Stampede
- Format: 8-Hour Night Trail Run/Hike
- Start Time: 10:30 PM
- End Time: 6:30 AM
- Distance: 3.3-mile marked loop course
- Goal: Complete as many laps as possible within 8 hours
Snow Moon's Last Stand
- Format: 12-Hour Last Runner Standing
- Start Time: 7:00 PM (Feb 14)
- End Time: 7:00 AM (Feb 15) or when final runner remains
- Distance: 4.17-mile loop
- Rules: Complete one loop every hour on the hour
Registration & Pricing
Registration options are available at different price points depending on the date:
- 8-Hour Snow Moon Stampede: Early Bird: $45 (through Jan 7), Regular: $55 (Jan 8 - Feb 7), Late: $65 (Feb 8 - 14)
- 12-Hour Snow Moon's Last Stand: Early Bird: $55 (through Jan 7), Regular: $65 (Jan 8 - Feb 7), Late: $75 (Feb 8 - 14)
- Series Discount: Register for both races: Early Bird: $80, Regular: $100, Late: $120
Race Day Schedule
On Friday, February 14, 2025:
- 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM: Packet pickup at Northshore Trails
- 6:00 PM: Last Stand check-in opens
- 7:00 PM: Snow Moon's Last Stand starts
- 9:30 PM: Stampede check-in opens
- 10:30 PM: Snow Moon Stampede starts
- 7:00 AM (Feb 15): Course closes
Aid Stations & Support
Each loop features fully stocked aid stations offering:
- Water and sports drinks
- Various snacks (fruit, cookies, chips)
- Medical assistance
- Restroom facilities
Important Policies
- Gear: Headlamp or flashlight (mandatory), backup batteries recommended
- No refunds, transfers allowed through February 7, 2025
- No animals allowed, and mandatory gear check before the start

Limited campsites available first-come, first-served. Advance booking is strongly recommended.

Designated parking areas within Northshore Trails. Early arrival recommended and carpooling encouraged.
