Slay the Dragon Trail Race
Slay the Dragon is a trail running event located at beautiful Silver Star Mountain Resort, only a short drive up the mountain from the gorgeous lakes of Vernon, BC.
Whether you choose the 13.6km, 25km, or 50km distance, you will start your event at 5200+ feet. Racing to stunning unobstructed views of the Monashee Mountains at an elevation of 6,280 feet whilst running through beautiful single track mountain bike trails of Silver Star Resort.

Dragon Vertical Climb
Distance: 1.1 miles
Vertical Gain: 480m
Terrain: No marked trail. No packed path. Just open slope and raw climb.
Kids Race: Slay the Baby Dragon
Distance: ~2.7km Out-and-Back
Ages: 0–12 years
Location: Start/Finish Line – Silver Star Mountain Resort

Open to children aged 0 to 12, this ~2.7km course offers a safe, exciting introduction to trail running in one of BC’s most scenic alpine locations.
