Silvesterlauf Sigmaringen 2026
Join the 40th Silvesterlauf Sigmaringen, a popular running event on the last day of the year in Sigmaringen. The event will take place on Thursday, December 31, 2026.

Start Eligibility:
- 5 km Sparkassenlauf: From U12 (born 2016 and older)
- 10 km Stadtwerke / Z-Sportlauf: From U16 (born 2012 and older)
- Further classifications according to DLV (German Athletics Federation) age groups.
- Age groups up to W85/M85.
Courses:
- 300 Meter Bambini Lauf: For children born 2020 and younger. Starts at 10:30 AM.
- 1.4 km KIDS-RUN (Doni, AOK, KNAX): For children born 2017-2018 (KNAX), 2015-2016 (Doni, AOK). Starts at 11:00 AM.
- 5 km Sparkassen Lauf: A beautiful, flat 5 km course around the Danube. Starts at 12:00 PM.
- 10 km Stadtwerke / Z-Sportlauf: A beautiful, flat 5 km course around the Danube, run twice. Starts at 1:00 PM.
Start and Finish:
The start and finish line are located at the Festplatz an der Stadthalle Sigmaringen.

- Bib pickup:
- 5 km: 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM on 31.12.2026
- 10 km: 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM on 31.12.2026
- Bambini and Kids Runs: 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM on 31.12.2026
Award Ceremonies:
Held in the Stadthalle Sigmaringen.

- Stadtwerke 10 km Lauf: 2:30 PM
Prizes:
The top three fastest runners (net time) in each race receive vouchers and a certificate. The first to third place in each age group receive non-cash prizes and a certificate. Special recognition for the oldest participant. Gift baskets for the three largest running groups. Surprises await children in the Bambini and Kids runs.
Results:
Results for 2023, 2024, and 2025 are available. Live results will be available on this website immediately after crossing the finish line. Certificates for all finishers will be available for download after the event.
Timing:
Integrated transponder timing by Datasport Kempten using net time measurement. Personal transponders cannot be used. Please do not bend bibs.
Showers/Toilets:
- Showers: Hohenzollern-Gymnasium-Halle, Hohenzollernstrasse 20.
- Toilets: In the basement of the Stadthalle.
Parking:
Sufficient parking is available around the Stadthalle, as well as at the Bootshaus and TÜV (In den Burgwiesen 22). These locations are a short walk to the start and finish area.
Finish Line Refreshments:
Warm tea and the popular Hefezopf (yeast braid) from Backhaus Mahl will be available at the finish area.
