SilverBackTrails Goathland V Trigs Ultra Challenge
The Goathland V Trigs Ultra Challenge is a self-navigated event for runners and walkers, starting and finishing at Goathland Village Hall in The North York Moors National Park. Participants will follow a course of approximately 37 miles, visiting five listed Triangulation Pillars. The route must use public rights of way, and all checkpoints must be visited in the order given.

There are three staffed checkpoints offering snacks and drinks, and one mystery checkpoint revealed on the course.
Participants must be self-supported; no external support crews or support runners/walkers are permitted. Competitors have 15 hours to complete the challenge and should be prepared to finish in the dark. Required kit includes a map, compass, whistle, headtorch, emergency bivvy, spare warm clothing, waterproofs, a battery pack, charged mobile phone, at least 500 ml of fluid, at least 60 g of emergency food, and a cup.
