Scottish 6 Days Perthshire 2027
The Scottish 6 Days Orienteering Event returns to stunning Highland Perthshire from Sunday 1st August until Friday 6th August 2027. This event celebrates 50 years of the Scottish 6 Days Orienteering Event, returning to Perthshire to explore new areas and existing favorites. Perthshire is a rich forested area boasting more than 200,000 acres of woodland and is a perfect place to enjoy challenging forests as well as a wealth of family-friendly activities for all ages!
Perthshire 2027 will have five days of forest competition beginning on Sunday 1st August 2027 then continuing on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and ending on Friday 6th August 2027. Perthshire forests are a varied mix of fast, runnable plantations and more technical Highland terrain; they offer challenging, often physical orienteering where precise navigation will really benefit. The event will include competitive age-class courses, colour-coded courses and string courses for the young and the young at heart! The event centre will be based in Aberfeldy, and there will be rest day activities for those who need an orienteering-based activity on their day off. A full social calendar is also planned.
As a holiday-based event, there are plenty of local attractions to keep you entertained when not orienteering, including The Perth Museum, Blair Castle, Scone Palace, The Scottish Crannog Centre, Highland Fling Bungee and Zip Park, or varied Mountain Biking routes at Comrie Croft. We look forward to welcoming you to Perthshire in 2027 to celebrate 50 years of the Scottish 6 Days!
