The Savona Half Marathon is an official Fidal and World Athletics Global Calendar race, valid for the World Athletics Ranking.
Courses
- Half Marathon (21.097 km): A single loop course close to the sea, passing through Savona, Albissola Marina, Albisola Superiore, and Vado Ligure. Fidal and World Athletics approved. Max time: 2 hours and 45 minutes.
- Ten 10K (10 km): Fidal approved (competitive and non-competitive). Route through Savona, Albissola Marina, and Albisola Superiore. Max time: 1 hour and 45 minutes.
- Iren Family Run (4 km): A non-competitive walk on Saturday at 15:30, starting and ending in Piazza Sisto IV, winding through the city's characteristic points. Pets are welcome.
Gemellaggio (Twinning) with Imperia Half Marathon
A twinning event is planned between Savona Half Marathon (15/11/2026) and Imperia Half Marathon (07/03/2027), with a combined ranking based on the sum of times. Prizes are awarded to the top finishers and category winners. Athletes must select the "Gemellaggio" option during registration for Savona Half Marathon 2026 to participate.
Services
Changing rooms and showers are available from 10:00 to 12:30 at Piscina Zanelli (Corso Colombo). Showers are coin-operated.
