SATURN - Remembrance Run 2026 - South
This is a 7 hour and 2 minute timed challenge held near Wraysbury Skiff & Punting Club on a looped course along the River Thames. Participants choose how many laps to run; the event has a minimum age of 12 years and a maximum of 300 entrants. Entries close on 07/11/2026.
Distances
- Minimum distance 3 km, counted as part of a lap
- Full lap approximately 7 km or 4.37 miles, subject to change
- 3 km and 5 km turn points within the lap for younger runners
- Three laps equal a half marathon, six a marathon, seven plus an ultra
- A 50 km option is also available
The course is fully signed and follows a mix of well maintained paths, a short grass section and some trail paths. Sections can get muddy in adverse weather. Aid and drinks tables are available at the start/finish area of each lap with a range of drinks and snacks, including vegan options.
Finishers who complete at least 3 km receive a medal and a goody bag; a vegan goody bag option is offered. Distance achievement pins are issued for half-marathon and longer distances. Toilets and changing facilities are at the race HQ. Bag drop is available but not staffed and items are left at the participant's own risk. Headphones are allowed and runners should be considerate of other public footpath users.
There will be a two minute silence during the event to commemorate the fallen. Two minutes will be deducted from official finish times to account for this pause. Final instructions and number pick up details are provided in the week before the event; number pick up takes place at race registration on the day. Special Event
If our event is a special event for you, for instance your 50th, 99th, 100th, 200th, 250th etc., half or full marathon then please let us know. You will receive a special running number with your name on it and the date of the event.
Toilets & Changing Facilities
Toilets and changing facilities are available at the race HQ. Bag is near the start and finish area. Runners should be aware the bag is not staffed and items are left at the sole responsibility of the participant. No liability for lost items will be accepted by the Organiser.
Parking
There is parking available at Runnymede Pleasure Grounds or in Egham with approximately a 15 minute walk to the start line. If you are parked away from the start area, don't worry as we can start you as soon as you arrive and are ready.
Other Info
There will be somewhere to leave a bag at the start / finish area. However, this is not a secure bag and the items cannot be watched at all times so please do not leave anything valuable.
Headphones are allowed.
