San Diego 100 - May 1, 2026
The San Diego 100 is a 100-mile endurance race held on May 1-2, 2026. The event features a challenging loop course consisting of 90% single track mountain trails, traversing sections of the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT), Noble Canyon, Cuyamaca and Anza Borrego State Parks, and Mt Laguna Recreational Areas. It involves approximately 15,400 feet of climbing and 15,400 feet of descent, with a 32-hour time limit. The race is a qualifier for the Western States 100.
New Race Date: May 1-2, 2026. Registration opens January 1, 2026, at 12:01 AM and closes April 1, 2026, or when 300 entrants are reached.
Start Time: Friday, May 1, 2026, at 6:00 AM PDT.
End Time: Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 2:00 PM PDT (32-hour cutoff).
Location: South parking of Lake Cuyamaca Recreation Area, Highway 79, Lake Cuyamaca, CA.
Special Notes:
- Solo runners receive a $10 discount.
- Runners over 60 can start one hour early.
- Scotty Mills Scholarships: Up to 2 free entries awarded for community service.
- 10% Discount for Active Military and First Responders.
- Qualification Requirements: Must have completed a 50-mile race in under 13 hours (Jan 1, 2024 - Apr 1, 2026), or a 100K/100-mile race within time limits. Must also complete 6 hours of trail maintenance or volunteer service by May 15, 2025, or donate $100 to Trailfit.
- Solo Division: Runners without crew or pacers.
