Join us for a fun morning run to kick off the St Clair Shores Memorial Day festivities! Sailing Thru the Shores 5K Run and Walk returns after a few years hiatus and will take place on Sunday May 24th, 2026.
Event Details
The common start - finish line is located at the intersection of Harper and 11 Mile Rd and will then travel along Harper Rd for an out and back 5K along the parade route. This is a flat and fast course! Participants are encouraged to show spirit and dress in patriotic colors of our nation. All finishers will receive a medal. Snacks and water will be provided at the conclusion of the 5K.
Race Day Schedule
- 10:30 am – 11:45 am: Packet pick-up and late registration at Wheat Education Campus Building 27575 Harper Avenue in St Clair Shores
- 11:45 am: 5K starts
- 12:45 pm: 5K course closes - any participants still on course will be directed to move onto the sidewalk for the remainder of the race.
Proceeds from this event support the St Clair Shores Scholarship fund set up to assist St Clair Shores scholar athletes moving onto higher education.
