Run With Rob Comes to Nova Scotia
July 19 to August 1, 2026
A run to raise awareness for congenital CMV (cCMV) and newborn screening.
Building on the momentum of the past four years, Run With Rob returns in 2026 with its biggest challenge yet: running across Nova Scotia to raise awareness and funds for congenital CMV (cCMV), the leading infectious cause of birth defects in Canada.
Inspired by Terry Fox, Rob Tétrault ran 506 kilometres across Manitoba in 2023, 548 kilometres through New Brunswick in 2024, and around the entire province of Prince Edward Island in 2025. Now, in 2026, he’s taking on Nova Scotia to keep pushing for change.
While many provinces screen newborns for cCMV, the Maritimes still do not. Early detection can change lives, and every newborn deserves that chance.
