Root Beer Kids Triathlon
The Root Beer Kids race is the partner race for the Brewhouse Triathlon. It is for kids 6-14 and takes place on Sunday afternoon.
Age Groups and Distances:
- 6-8 year olds: 50 yard Swim, 1.5 mile Bike, 1/4 mile Run (approx: 2:50 start)
- 9-11 year olds: 100 yard Swim, 2.5 mile Bike, 1/2 mile Run (approx: 2:10 start)
- 12-14 year olds: 200 yard Swim, 5 mile Bike, 1 mile Run (1:30 start)
In-person registration is available at The Barrel Room in the Fitger's complex from 4-7pm on Saturday night (Cash, Check or Charge). On-site registration for the Root Beer Kids Triathlon starts at 12:30pm on Sunday.
Pricing:
- Before July 21st: $25 (plus appropriate insurance fee)
- From July 21st until the race: $35
- USAT Insurance Fee: $10 (covers all USAT kids events for the year, annual youth license available at www.USATriathlon.org)
There are no refunds, but registration can be deferred until next year if notified 4 weeks or more before the race date.
