Event Overview
Explore the trails this winter in the 13th annual Rocks and Roots Winter Trail Series. This event offers a challenging and rewarding experience for trail runners of all levels, featuring distances from 10K up to 50K. Participants can choose to run just one race or sign up for both dates to receive a special Trail Package.
Location
The series takes place at the Rocks and Roots Trail at Alum Creek State Park, located just off Hollenback Rd. This trail is uniquely built for runners, by runners, providing an excellent course for the winter series.
Race Options & Inclusions
- Winter Series Package: Includes entry into both January and February race dates, plus the exclusive Trail Package (RnR Sweatshirt, Socks, and a Handheld Water Bottle).
- Individual Race Entry: Options for January Race Only or February Race Only.

Registration
Registration for the 2027 series opens on March 15, 2026.
