The routes start from the George & Dragon pub on the newly designed and revamped Lancaster Quay. Runners follow the Lune Estuary Footpath for most of the course, with views across the Lune Valley.
Finishers in the Half Marathon receive a medal and a t-shirt. All 10k finishers receive a medal. Prizes are awarded to the first three male and first three female athletes. Listed Half Marathon course records are 70.04 for men and 81.43 for women.
Online entry fees for the Half Marathon are: affiliated club athletes £31, unaffiliated athletes £33, and Lancaster Runner's Club members £25. Online 10k fees are: affiliated £24, unaffiliated £25, Lancaster Runner's Club £19. Some online portals may add a small charge.
Entries on the day are accepted by cash only. On the day fees for the Half Marathon are £35 for affiliated and unaffiliated athletes and £25 for Lancaster Runner's Club; 10k on the day fees are £25 for affiliated and unaffiliated athletes and £20 for Lancaster Runner's Club athletes.
