Get ready for double the fun, two locations, and one awesome race series filled with great vibes, scenic routes, and RiverShack-style celebrations!
RACE #1: EASTBANK
Date: Friday, May 29, 2026
Location: RiverShack Tavern – River Road (3449 River Rd, Jefferson, LA 70121)
Kick off the series with an evening of fun, running, and RiverShack energy you know and love! Enjoy live music by Tank & Bill.
RACE #2: WESTBANK
Date: Saturday, June 6, 2026
Location: RiverShack Gretna – Levee Jogging Path (714 1st St, Gretna, LA 70053)
Lace up for a 2-mile sprint along the levee, then stick around for post-race food, drinks, and fun hosted by RiverShack Gretna!
Chip-Timed Races
Each runner will receive a bib with a built-in timing chip. Be sure to wear your bib on the front of your body for accurate results.

- Register for ONE race (East or West): Receive a custom event t-shirt!
- Register for the SERIES (both races): Score the t-shirt AND a custom finisher medal for completing both events!

Race with a Cause — and a Cold One! (Beer Mile)
Get ready for the wildest mile you’ll ever run — and all for an incredible cause! All proceeds from the Beer Mile benefit Ainsley’s Angels of Greater New Orleans, a nonprofit championing inclusion and mobility for individuals with disabilities.
What’s a Beer Mile?
- Chug a 12 oz beer at the start line 🍺
- Run 1/4 mile 🏃♀️
- Repeat 4 times — for a total of 1 mile + 4 beers
- Puke penalty: Add a 1/4-mile penalty lap 🚨
Costumes encouraged. Laughs guaranteed. Good vibes mandatory.

Awards
Awards will go to Overall Male & Female and Top Male & Female in age groups: 0-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+. There will be an Awards Ceremony for each race!

Post Race food will be provided courtesy of Rivershack Tavern. Additional refreshments provided from sponsors: Kentwood Springs, Elmer's CheeWees, Baker Maid products, and Bud Light/Budweiser beer.
