River Lake Days Run
The River Lake Days Run Event takes place on Saturday morning during the Richmond River Lake Days celebration. The event offers a 10K, 5K Run/Walk, and a Kids Fun Run through the city of Richmond and on Glacier Lakes Trail. All races start and end at CENTENNIAL PARK RICHMOND, MN.
Course Details:
- 10K Run: Winds through rural township roads with a gradual incline hill from approximately mile 2 to 3 and finishes with a fast downhill at mile 5.
- 5K Course: Winds through the City of Richmond, consisting of both city roads and Glacier Lakes Bike/Walking Trail.
- Kids Fun Run: 1K distance.
Course distances have been confirmed with GPS Map My RUN and wheel.
Race Times:
- 10K: 8:00 am
- 5K: 8:10 am
- Kids 1K: 9:30 am or following the 10K/5K finish
Awards will be presented immediately following the finish of the 1K run at the Park Pavilion.
After the run, head to the RLD grounds AT RIVER LAKES ARENA for other family fun events, music, and food!
Race Information:
- Awards: Overall 10K and 5K 1st place finishers, as well as the first Male and Female finisher for the 10K and 5K, will be awarded a Scheels Gift Card. Age Category 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers will receive age category placement logo medals. Gift cards will be awarded at random drawings from participant numbers. Must be present to win. All Youth Fun Run participants receive a finisher medal and are eligible for the gift card random drawing. Awards will not be mailed.
- Theme: This year's River Lake Days Theme is “Richmond is Out of This World”! Come in your best “outer space” themed costume for a chance to win an award.
- Age Categories: 12 and under, 13-17, 18-22, 23-27, 28-32, 33-37, 38-42, 43-47, 48-52, 53-57, 58-62, 63-67, 67-75 and up. Categories may be modified at the discretion of the Race committee.
Packet Pick Up:
- Friday, 07/17/2026: 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM at CENTENNIAL PARK (550 Nature Ave NE, Richmond, MN 56368). Late registration also available.
- Saturday Race Day, 07/18/2026: 6:30 AM - 7:30 AM. Late registration is cash or personal check only. No credit card option same day.
