Rheinhöhenlauf 2026 in Linz am Rhein
The 19th Rheinhöhenlauf 2026 will take place in Linz am Rhein from Friday, September 25th to Sunday, September 27th, 2026. This event offers a variety of running challenges for all levels, from children's races to a 3-day trail run with an alpine character.
The new routes feature challenging trails with significant elevation gain, leading through scenic areas around Linz am Rhein, including Ockenfels, Kasbach, Erpeler Ley, St. Katharinen, Dattenberg, and Ariendorf.
Distances Offered:
- RUN50 - 50 kilometers over 3 days: (Friday, 25.09. - Sunday, 27.09.) - Also possible as a relay.
- Linzer Halbmarathon - 21.1 kilometers: A trail run with 700 meters of elevation gain (Saturday, 26.09.).
- Basalt-Schleifen 10er - 10 kilometers: A trail run and walking event with 300 meters of elevation gain (Saturday, 26.09.).
- Linzer 5er - 5 kilometers: A trail run with 200 meters of elevation gain (Saturday, 26.09.).
- Children's races: Strünzer-Lauf (400m and 900m) (Friday, 25.09.).
