Event Details
RexRun for PAWSitivity 2024 opens at 7:00 am to visit with the doggies and get an early peek in the Vendor Marketplace! Our family 5K event kicks off at 7:50am with the singing of our National Anthem. The 5K trail run begins at 8am and is followed at 8:10am with the 5K walk (with your dog!) and the kid's run! After that, you can enjoy a delicious pancake breakfast at the Flippin' Flapjacks food truck! All day long, we will have therapy and patrol K-9 training demonstrations and the ASCO Mounted Patrol will gallop in! Don't miss our colorful dog costume contest (with the winner's basket full of doggy goodies) and our silent and live auction that you don't want to miss!! The Fitness Zone will have face painting, a balloon artist and lots of lawn games for the whole family! Make sure you stroll through the Vendor Marketplace to pick up giveaways throughout the event and talk to the experts about your furry friends! Dogs are welcome inside of the event area as long as they are on their best behavior and on a 6' leash.
Supporting Law Enforcement K-9's
The star of our event is K-9 Rex, a two-year-old black Labrador therapy dog. He and his fellow K-9's with their handlers go to local schools to primarily offer comfort to students with special needs. Many are in crisis and are dealing with stress, anxiety and depression. 100% of all net profits from RexRun For PAWSitivity 2024 go to the law enforcement K-9's through the 501(c)3 nonprofit, Back The Blue K-9 Force, to purchase K-9's and their protective gear as well as provide funding for their medical needs.
Registration Information
Four registrations are available! 8:00 am - 5K Trail Timed Run 8:15 am - Family 5K Trail Walk (dogs welcome!) 8:45 am - Kids and Family 1-mile Trail Run/Walk Virtual Run/Walk is open anytime from August 1st to September 30th. Early bird price specials available.
Breakfast and Inclusions
Breakfast is included in each registration fee! All registrants receive a T-shirt, race bib with timing tag, goody bag, finishers medal, pancake breakfast, and professional photos.

Safety Information
All dogs need to be on a 6-foot leash at all times. No retractable leashes are allowed. Please clean up after your pet and respect law enforcement K-9's at the event. Event will be held rain or shine.
