Remembrance Run - Ferry Meadows
Remembrance Run is a lapped multi-terrain running event held at Ferry Meadows, a country park in Nene Park near Peterborough. The course uses a single 5.3 km lap that runs on gravel footpaths and some grass sections. The Race HQ and base camp are located at the start and lap point, with an aid station placed there for every lap.
Registration is based at the Lakeside Centre on the watersports side of the park and bib numbers are collected at registration. Zig Zag gazebos are visible from the car park and mark the event area. Parking at the park is chargeable and located near the toilets and parking machines.
The event allows flexible, lapped participation so runners can complete standard distances or choose how many laps to run. A bespoke event medal is offered to finishers unless the non-specific finisher medal option is chosen. Virtual places are available for those who want the medal without attending in person. The terrain recommendation is road trainers, with trail shoes optional depending on pre-event weather. The event operates as a cupless venue, so participants require their own bottles or cups for refilling. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
