About the race
The Regensburger Leukämielauf, organized by Leukämiehilfe Ostbayern e.V. and supported by LLC Marathon Regensburg e.V., is more than just a race; it's a community event focused on supporting leukemia patients. First held on October 17, 1999, it has grown into the largest charity run in the region, attracting over 3,000 participants annually. The emphasis is on togetherness and supporting a good cause, rather than personal bests, maintaining a family-friendly atmosphere.
