RBC Race for the Kids Calgary
Celebrating its 10th year in Calgary, the RBC Race for the Kids is a family-friendly day that includes a 6-km run along scenic pathways overlooking the Glenmore Reservoir, a pancake breakfast, and a full day of family fun. Registration includes a performance race T-shirt, a completion medal, all-day access to Heritage Park, kid-friendly entertainment, snacks and more (valued at more than $80)! Registrants can also choose to complete a shorter 1.7-km circuit inside the park – this is a favourite for families with little ones.
Since it began in 2017, the RBC Race for the Kids has raised more than $4.1 million in support of the increasing number of kids in our community who need mental health resources. The race helped create Calgary’s first community-based mental health centre for kids, The Summit, which opened its doors in the spring of 2023, and funds programs and research specific to youth mental health that will help kids now and for generations to come.
Distances offered:
- 6 km along pathways with views of the Glenmore Reservoir
- 1.5 km circuit inside the park for families with young children
