Race for Life Wolverhampton 5k
The event is a Race for Life 5k held at West Park, Park Road East and Park Road West, Wolverhampton WV1 4PH on Sunday 14 June 2026. It is organised by Cancer Research UK and has a minimum fundraising target of £50.00. Entry fees are shown as £15.99 for those aged 16 and over and £11.00 for children.
The course starts and finishes on grass and is mainly on tarmac paths. The route is a double lap so participants complete two laps for the full 5k distance. The course is described as fairly flat with some inclines, twists and turns; sections can become slightly congested and participants are asked to overtake on the right-hand side of the path.
The meeting point is a short walk from the Tea Rooms, with the Southgate entrance the closest gate. Travel notes include very limited parking around the venue, drop-off space at the park perimeter, a limited number of blue badge bays, bike racks around the perimeter, and a 20 to 25 minute walk from Wolverhampton train station. An electric charging station is noted on Park Rd W.
Facilities and accessibility provisions include refreshments, toilets, allowance for dogs, suitability for pushchairs, wheelchair access, sunflower wristbands, on-site trained staff, and BSL stage content via QR code. Participants receive a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training materials and a Race for Life medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
